'Santoshi Maa' actress Simran Kaur Suri suffers a thumb fracture

New Delhi: TV actress Simran Kaur Suri who is currently seen as 'Sweety' in &TV show 'Santoshi Maa' has fractured her right thumb. The incident took place when Simran was in Indore with her actor hubby Krrip Kapur Suri. Reportedly the actress is on complete bed rest and has taken off from the shoot. Talking to leading entertainment portal Tellychakkar, the actress confirmed  the news saying, “Yes, in Indore, like a super woman, I tried to pull my big bag off the belt at the airport. I got hurt badly on my right thumb, but thought it was just a muscle pull and ignored the injury. By the time we got back to Mumbai, it worsened and the doctor said it was a fracture. Now for 20 days, the plaster will be there and the thumb needs complete rest.” Get well soon Simran!
