SAATH NIBHANA SAATHIYA: Show is going OFF AIR because of Devoleena’s ‘PAYCHECK’ demand?

New Delhi: Star Plus’ old show ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ is going to say goodbye to the audience in the coming few days. On Friday, team shot the last episode, which will be aired on 23^rd July. But before show ends, a shocking rumours has been doing the rounds. As per reports, lead actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee’s behavior and demand in paycheck lead to the closure of the show. According to news in Bollywoodlife.com, “Buzz is that Devoleena demanded that her pay be hiked to Rs two lakh per day and that was unacceptable to the channel. It was turning out to be an expensive proposition for the channel as Rupal Patel who plays Kokila Modi also a very staggering fee.”

Also a source informed the portal, “She was making a whopping Rs 1.5 lakh per episode. This is higher than that of other TV divas like Divyanka Tripathi and Jennifer Winget, who is also reportedly commanding a lakh per episode.” But while talking to the portal, Devoleena said, “Whatever amount I am getting is my personal matter. Why do I have to tell anyone about it? Would anyone do it? We know that Saathiya is winding up. I don’t know from where such rumours are arising.”
