Palak Muchhal in tears while recording song for 'Naamkarann'

Mumbai: Singer Palak Muchhal broke down while recording a song titled “Lori” for Mahesh Bhatt's TV show “Naamkarann”. “I was so touched by the lyrics of this song that when I started to record it, tears kept flowing until I had to take a break and calm myself down,” Palak said in a statement. In fact, her mother who was present at the studio, as well as Bhatt too were seen getting emotional. “'Lori' is a gift that Mahesh sir has given to me. This song will always be every close to me since it is a beautiful piece of creation and it will be loved by public for sure,” Palak said in a statement. The show, which will go on air on September 12 on Star Plus channel, revolves around the life of a young girl Avni. The story of the show is progressive and will be questioning the social stigmas of society. It will explore the journey of a 10-year-old who carves her own identity and takes charge of her own destiny.
