Not only surname, this TV actress changes her full name post wedding

New Delhi: Here comes a big news for newlywed TV actress Dimple Jhangiani fans! The actress who tied the knot couple of days ago has changed her entire name. Yes, that's right! The 'Amrit Manthan' actress has not only changed her surname but also her first name post-wedding. She is now Anaisha Asrani. Talking to leading daily Times Of India, Dimple said, "I am the only child, and my parents wanted my wedding to be done with all the rites and rituals. So, there was an engagement party, mehendi, sangeet, pheras and finally, the reception. Also, it's our custom to change the bride's name during the pheras; it's supposed to bring good luck for the couple. So, my new name is Anaisha Asrani." TV actress Dimple Jhangiani who rose to fame with ‘Amrit Manthan’ got married to diamond merchant beau Sunny Asrani on December 9. The couple had ‘sindhi’ wedding, attended by their family and close friends from TV Industry.
