Post winning 'Bigg Boss 12', TV actress Dipika Kakar Ibrahim is busy spending quality time with husband Shoaib Ibrahim and her family. But the 'Sasural Simar Ka' actress has reportedly signed her next show and will be seen playing the lead role in Sandiip Sikcand's upcoming show on Star Plus opposite Karan V Grover. However, Dipika or the makers are yet to confirm the same. Now according to latest reports, bit Dipika Kakar but 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' actress Divyanka Tripathi was the first choice for the show. But, Ekta Kapoor's long-running show has now got an extension due to which Divyanka couldn't be a part of Saniip Sikcand's Star Plus show. Revealing how 'Paltan' actress came into the picture, the SpotboyE report further states that, "After Divyanka opted out of the project, the hunt for a new leading lady began and defeating Drashti Dhami, Deepika Singh and Pooja Gor, Dipika Kakar won the race."
