Neha Sargam set to star in comedy show

Mumbai: TV actress Neha Sargam will be making a special appearance in “Naya Mahisagar”, a comedy show which depicts the quintessential ‘saas-bahu’ relationship from a comical angle.

Starting on Tuesday, Neha will be appearing on BIG Magic's show and turn character Mahi's world upside down. “I love watching comedy shows and sitcoms but trying comedy as a genre is a whole new ballgame altogether. I have been associated with daily soaps as of now and audiences have seen me in serious roles most of the time,” Neha said in a statement. Hoping that her appearance on the show will be a pleasant change for the audience, Neha, who has worked in TV projects like “Chaand Chupa Badal Mein”, “Punar Vivah” and “Doli Armaano Ki” says that “Naya Mahisagar” is a situational comedy show. “I guess this will be a pleasant change for me as well as for the viewers. I will be playing a character who turns Mahi’s life upside down by creating a mess in the family. As it is a situational comedy show, my character will definitely make the viewers laugh,” she said.
