WATCH: Newly Married Gauahar Khan Dances With Friend On 'Jhalla Wallah' At Her Wedding Reception

Gauahar Khan grooved to the beats of her popular song 'Jhalla Wallah' at her wedding reception in Mumbai.

New Delhi: 'Bigg Boss 7' winner Gauahar Khan got hitched to Zaid Darbar on Friday (December 25) in Mumbai. The couple, who tied the knot in an intimate Nikaah ceremony, hosted a grand wedding reception for their industry friends and family members. The likes of Manish Malhotra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Gautam Rode, Pankhuri Awasthy and Hussain Kuwajerwala attended Gauahar and Zaid's wedding reception. PICS: #GaZa Wedding: Gauahar Khan & Sister Nigaar Khan Flaunt Their Mehendi At Pre-Wedding Function Gauahar Khan's good friend Preeti Simoes took to her Instagram handle to share a video from the wedding bash wherein the bride can be seen dancing on her hit number 'Jhalla Wallah' from Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer 'Ishaaqzaade'. Gauahar, who was also part of the film, featured in two popular numbers in it. Gauahar joined Preeti on the stage while she was performing on the song. Preeti, who is a popular TV producer, couldn't rehearse for the gala night and thanked Gauahar for coming on the stage for an impromptu act. "The bestest night ever ... my Knight in Shining Armour ...@gauaharkhan. Wen u cud not rehearse for a dance performance and got major #Fomo ..so u decide u get on stage for an impromptu act .. And jus wen u r makin a fool of urself ... ur best friend who is also a bride comes to ur rescue..... thanks for saving me G," the caption for the post read.
Preeti had earlier shared photos with Gauahar after her wedding on Instagram along with a heartfelt caption that read, "A ceremony that finally sealed the deal amongst such purity .. like angels were smiling on der best miracle." Simoes congratulated the newly weds and revealed how their love story inspired her. She wrote, "Your love story makes me believe We do not choose who we love but rather our souls choose for us."
Gauahar looked elegant in a beige and maroon lehenga at her wedding reception while hubby Zaid complimented her in a sherwani. The newly married couple has been trending on social media since the last few days. Photos from their pre-wedding functions have created a lot of buzz on the internet. Gauahar's father-in-law Ismail Darbar sang the heartbreak ballad 'Tadap Tadap Ke' from 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' at the sangeet night. The video from the ceremony went viral in no time as Gauahar and Zaid were also seen humming the lyrics of the song.
On the professional front, Gauahar was recently seen in Colors TV's 'Bigg Boss 14'. She entered the 'BB 14' house along with Hina Khan and Sidharth Shukla. Watch this space for more updates!
