Classical dancers to be part of 'Chandra-Nandni' wedding sequence

New Delhi: The makers of the TV show "Chandra-Nandni" are planning to fly down classical dancers from Magadh region of central Bihar for an upcoming wedding sequence. The Star Plus show features Rajat Tokas in the role of Chandragupta Maurya -- who was the founder of the Maurya Empire -- and Shweta Basu Prasad as Nandni. "The plan is to recreate a wedding like no other, a wedding that will definitely leave the audiences asking for more. The wedding of Chandragupta and Nandni will in the true sense mark the beginning of the main journey of the two," said a source close to the makers. "There will be a royal sangeet and the dancers are going to be part of it and will be seen performing some traditional music and dance. Their attire too represent the Mauryan era," the source added.
