Bigg Boss 14: Paras Chhabra's EX Girlfriend Akanksha Approached For Salman Khan's Show?

Bigg Boss 14: Akanksha Puri has been reportedly approached to make an entry as a wild card contestant.

Salman Khan's 'Bigg Boss 14' has not been able to re-create the magic of season thirteen. While 'Bigg Boss 13' had set the TRP charts on fire, the new season is yet to pick up pace in terms of numbers. The 'Bigg Boss 14' contestants are leaving no stone unturned to impress the viewers. Pavitra Punia was eliminated from the show during the 'Weekend Ka Vaar' episode. Fans expected the 'Naagin 3' actress to become one of the finalists of 'Bigg Boss 14'; however, her game plan took a hit in the past two weeks. Adding a new twist in tale, the makers are all set to introduce six challengers, who will reportedly compete with the 'Bigg Boss 14' contestants. Vikas Gupta, Kashmera Shah, Manu Panjabi, Rakhi Sawant, Rahul Mahajan and Arshi will soon enter the 'BB 14' house. Interestingly, all of them have participated in the previous seasons of the reality show. According to social media handle 'Bigg Boss Tak', the makers have once again approached popular TV actress Akanksha Puri to enter 'Bigg Boss 14' as a wild card contestant. The 'Vighnaharta Ganesh' actress had earlier refuted the rumours which claimed that she quit her show to participate in Salman Khan's 'Bigg Boss 14'. "As per Sources, #AkanshaPuri has been approached again for #BB14 as a Wild-card contestant. As BB14 to undergo major twist with Finale this week & then 6 Challengers to enter the show. However, makers are also approaching fresh faces for wildcard," the tweet read. The small screen diva is yet to react to the rumours which have created a lot of buzz on social media.

For the uninitiated, Akanksha Puri was in a relationship with 'Bigg Boss 13' contestant Paras Chhabra. They parted ways after Chhabra came out of the 'BB 13' house. His growing closeness with Mahira Sharma in the show grabbed several eyeballs. The duo is reportedly working on a Punjabi film after the success of their music video 'Baarish'. On a related note, Eijaz Khan has become the first finalist of 'Bigg Boss 14' by earning the immunity stone. The other contestants including Aly Goni, Jasmin Bhasin, Nikki Tamboli, Abhinav Shukla, Rubina Dilaik and Rahul Vadiya have been nominated for elimination. Watch this space for more updates!
