Bigg Boss 12: Shaleen Bhanot REVEALS the REAL reason why he didn't do the show

Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 12 has kick started with a bang on September 16 on Colors TV. Speculations were rife that TV actor Shaleen Bhanot will enter the BB 12 house along with his Ex-wife Dalljiet Kaur. However, after the premiere episode it was clear that the ‘Suryaputra Karn’ actor is not participating in the show. Shaleen, while talking to a leading daily, has confirmed that he was approached for the reality show but he chose to decline it. The ‘Sher-e-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh’ said that he was approached by the channel airing the show to enter BB 12 with his former wife Dalljiet but he rejected the show because of his son Shaarav. "The makers told me that the theme was jodis and they wanted me in the house with Dalljiet. But after thinking about it, I decided not to opt for it because of my son," the actor told Mid-Day. The actor said that he and his son son have got closer and he didn’t wish to do anything which can affect their relationship. "After all that has happened over the years, I am finally in a good space, career wise and personally. My son and I have got closer, which is a big deal for me. I don't want to do anything to jeopardise it," Shaleen further told the daily. (Shaleen with his son Aarav) For the uninitiated, Shaleen and Dalljiet had a public spat with each other after the actress accused him of domestic violence. The couple, who won Nach Baliye 4 together, called it quits in 2015. Anup Jalota and his girlfriend Jasleen Matharu have even become the butt of jokes on social media.
