Anupam Kher does a cameo in his debut TV production

New Delhi: Veteran actor Anupam Kher will make a special appearance in TV show "Khwaabon Ki Zamin Par", which also happens to be his first fiction series as a producer on the small screen. The show, airing on Zindagi channel since October 3, revolves around the journey of a young man who wants to make it big in Bollywood. "It was exciting to play a cameo role in my maiden fiction show. My entry in the show encourages Arya (the main protagonist) to believe in his talent and encourages him to live his dreams," Kher said in a statement here. In the programme, the 61-year-old thespian will be seen auditioning for talented actors from all over the country. Kher plays himself in the series and the episode featuring him will be aired tomorrow. Produced by Kher under the banner of his acting school Actor Prepares, "Khwaabon Ki Zamin Par" is the story of a 24- year-old man, Arya Kashyap (Ashish Kadian), who leaves behind his girlfriend Niyati Bajpayee (Megha Chakroborty), and his family to come to Mumbai to fulfil his dream of becoming a Bollywood star.
