Swara Bhasker’s new comedy-drama series series ‘Rasbhari’ was recently launched on Amazon prime video without any fanfare.

A while ago Swara Bhasker’s new comedy-drama series series ‘Rasbhari’ was launched on ott platform Amazon prime video without any fanfare. Created by Tanveer Bookwala of Ragini MMS 2 and Shantanu Srivastava, Rasbhari is part coming-of-age story of a school boy who falls for his teacher. Swara Bhasker plays double role in the series - English teacher and a prostitute named Rasbhari. The trailer was released a day ago and was not received well by the audience who trolled Amazon prime for the bold content and some even compared it to Ullu app which is known for its erotica. Probably that's the reason the show was dropped without much fanfare today. Many compared the new Amazon show to a cheap novel and also criticised the OTT platform for streaming it.
