‘Support Ranveer Without Bringing Me In Between’:  Uorfi Javed to Ranveer Singh Supporters

Not the one to ignore the trolls, Uorfi Javed took to her Instagram story and slammed people for comparing her with Ranveer Singh.

New Delhi: Ranveer Singh broke the internet recently with his latest photoshoot. The actor bared it all in the pictures posted online and what followed after was a meme fest, applauds, criticism, a clothes donation drive for him, and a police complaint.

There were several people, including celebrities, who came out in support of Ranveer Singh. In supporting Ranveer, a few of his fans took the wrong route and cited Uorfi Javed’s example and said if her photos are not considered obscene, then why Ranveer’s pictures have been criticised. They said ‘if 'something is wrong for one gender, then it should be wrong for the other gender too'.

Not the one to ignore the trolls, Uorfi took to her Instagram story and slammed people for comparing her with Ranveer Singh. She shared a screenshot that read, "If this photoshoot is hurting sentiments then, why these photoshoots of Urfi Javed is not hurting sentiments??? If something is wrong for one gender then it should be declared wrong for other gender too (sic)."

To this, Uorfi replied, "People can support Ranveer without bringing me in between, also everyone who is forgetting here, I've been trolled mercilessly, slut shamed, given rape threats, death threats for everything and anything. Everyone stop acting like the world has been nice to me. I've endured my part of abuses, trolling and what not. If a stupid Ngo decides to file a case against Ranveer, why y'll taking it out on me. This again shows the hypocricy (sic)."
