Shooting Of The Second Installment Of Allu Arjun Starrer 'Pushpa' To Begin Soon

New Delhi: Pushpa: The Rise, Part 1 took the box office by storm. The film, which features Rashmika Mandanna and Allu Arjun in the lead, crossed the 300 crores record.

In a recent interview, lead actress Rashmika Mandanna revealed exclusive details about the second instalment of the film. Speaking to India Today, she revealed that she has received information about the shoot of the second part, Pushpa: The Rule. The production for the film will begin in the month of March. She further added that the movie is expected to release in theatres worldwide towards the end of 2022, in December.

Rashmika further added that she is excited about shooting for the second part. The makers released a statement announcing the sequel of the film. The statement read, “The storyline and the characters took on lives of their own and grew to a span that required the movie to be released in two parts. The excitement we witnessed for 'Introduction To Pushpa Raj' was phenomenal and we are determined to take it all to the next level by releasing the film as a duology. We have the best stars, artists, and technicians aboard and we hope to give the audience a memorable experience in the theatres through this story.”

The film was released in five languages simultaneously and had a pan-India release. It was welcomed especially well in the northern part of India. The film features Allu Arjun playing the role of Pushpa Raj, a red sandalwood smuggler. It also stars Fahadh Faasil playing the role of the antagonist.
