Shahid Kapoor To Share Dance Floor With Disha Patani In Vishal Bhardwaj’s Arjun Ustara?

Shahid Kapoor and Disha Patani will be seen together for the first time in Arjun Ustara. Two grand musical numbers are being shot for the film, which stars Shahid in the lead.

Shahid Kapoor is all set to bring his signature energy back to the dance floor, this time with Disha Patani. The duo, who have never shared screen space before, are preparing to film two grand musical numbers for the upcoming film 'Arjun Ustara', directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and co-starring Triptii Dimri.

A News18 report quoted production sources that elaborated sets have already been constructed for both songs, which are expected to be visual spectacles. Known for his electrifying dance numbers, Shahid’s upcoming performances are expected to raise the bar once again, now with a fresh pairing that’s already piquing fan interest.

“Shahid and Disha are bringing serious style and energy”

The insider close to the film’s unit told the publication, “Both songs have the moves and the beats that Shahid’s songs are known to have. The appeal of both is completely different, but the wide mass appeal that comes standard with every Shahid song is common to both numbers. And with Shahid and Disha pairing up for the first time ever, fans are in for a visual treat—they’re bringing serious style and energy to both tracks.”

With Shahid playing the titular character 'Arjun Ustara', and Vishal Bhardwaj steering the ship, the film has already generated considerable excitement. Shahid is expected to dive deep into a layered role, something both the actor and director are known for pulling off with finesse. The movie is targeting a theatrical release in December.

High after Deva, Shahid gears up for another immersive role

Shahid was last seen in 'Deva', an action-packed thriller that starred Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati. Directed by Rosshan Andrrews in his Hindi directorial debut, the film revolves around a rebellious cop entangled in a high-stakes investigation filled with deception and conspiracies.

Speaking about the project, Shahid had said, “It’s a big screen experience. And not just the character, but the world of the film is something that should be experienced in the theatre. And it’s now out on the 31st of Jan. So yes, a lot of effort, a lot of work, a lot of heart has gone into Deva."

As Arjun Ustara moves further into production, fans can expect a mix of intense storytelling, electrifying dance, and fresh pairings that promise to deliver a cinematic spectacle this winter.
