Shah Rukh Khan Wraps Up Dunki Schedule In Saudi Arabia; Watch Video

'Dunki' also stars Taapsee Pannu and will release in December 2023.

New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan has been keeping super busy with upcoming films like 'Dunki', 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan'; all films ending with the letter 'N' which are slated to release next year. Meanwhile, the superstar has also appeared in several cameos in 2022 and is likely to make more in the coming future. Shah Rukh was seen in 'Brahmastra' and 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect' in guest roles. Now, as SRK wrapped up the shooting schedule of 'Dunki' in Saudi Arabia, he thanked his cast and crew, including his director Rajkumar Hirani and also the Saudi Ministry of Culture for the picturesque locations and their hospitality.

Taking to his official Instagram handle, Shah Rukh Khan announced the news of the schedule wrap with a video featuring him in black coat and sunglasses standing amidst sandy terrain with a nature-made monument structure in the backdrop. In the video, SRK says,“There’s nothing more satisfying than completing a shooting schedule, as is Dunki in Saudi. Thank you for giving us such spectacular locations and the warm hospitality. I want to thank Raju sir and the rest of the cast and crew….a very big Shukran to you all. God bless you.”

Shah Rukh Khan captioned the video ,"A very big Shukran to #SaudiArabiaMinistryOfCulture, the team and all who made this shoot schedule of #Dunki so smooth…”

'Dunki' also stars Taapsee Pannu and will release in December 2023. The film revolves around the illegal backdoor route called 'Donkey Flight' which many Indians have used to migrate to countries like Canada and the USA.

2023 is going to be a special year for Shah Rukh Khan with all three major films ( Dunki, Jawan, and Pathaan) in the release lineup.

Recently, at the Sharjah International Book Festival, SRk has said that he was sure all three films will be super hits. "I don’t think I need to be nervous; they are all going to be superhit films.” He explained why his statement is not ‘arrogant’. “That’s the belief I sleep with, I wake up with and that’s the belief that makes the 57-year-old me do stunts, and work 18 hours a day. If I did not have that belief that I am making a product that lots of people are going to like then I won’t be able to do it. So. it’s not an arrogant statement, this is what I like to believe. It’s a child-like belief that ‘look, I have prepared my best, I have done my best I am going to pass with flying colours,’” SRK said.
