Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani's Wrap Up: Alia Bhatt Joins Virtually, Ranveer Singh Hugs Dharmendra

New Delhi: Karan Johar on Monday announced the wrap of his upcoming directorial venture ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. The film boasts of an ensemble cast of Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi.
Karan Johar Johar took to social media and shared a video of the wrap-up celebration. He called the film “a piece of my heart” and wrote, “It's a talkie wrap on a piece of my heart...a kahani that became a journey which I will hold close to me forever! I sat in the director chair after many years and it felt like coming home. We had legends and superstars on the set and in front of the camera - they were magic! Behind the camera, it was nothing short of magic either with my A-team, my pillars of strength. Thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly and passionately towards this kahani...I am forever grateful. #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani coming soon in cinemas in 2023.”
In the video, we can see the entire cast and crew celebrating. Alia Bhatt, who had already wrapped her schedule last week, joined virtually through a video call. "Ye hai Rocky Aur Rani ki Virtual aur real ki prem kahani," said Karan Johar in the video.
Ranveer Singh says in the video, “I always wanted to be in a Karan Johar film, in a Dharma film. Little did I know that my first Dharma film will be directed by the man himself, the boss."
The actor also posted the video on his Instagram with the caption that read, “Many days of - hearty laughs, tears, mischief, love, blood & sweat. Somewhere in between action and cut, this kahani found a family within the hearts of everyone on set. IT’S A TALKIE WRAP ON #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani with just 1 song to go! We will see you on the big screen! Coming soon in 2023.”
Meanwhile, veteran actor Dharmendra too posted a video on his Instagram profile. In the video, Ranveer can be seen lovingly hugging Dharmendra. He wrote, “Dosto, Pyaari iss Production ke saath beete pyaare lamhe bahut yaad aayenge (I’ll miss the lovely time spent with everyone in this production).”
'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' is written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy. The film is slated to release next year.
