Rashami Desai Talks About Her Equation With Late Sidharth Shukla

After the tragic death of Sidharth Shukla last year, Rashami Desai was criticised for being unaffected. Their fights during 'Bigg Boss 13’ were the buzz of the town.

New Delhi: Actress Rashmi Desai has spoken out about her troubled connection with late actor Siddharth Shukla and replied to all the hatred got for not getting along with the actor following his tragic death. Dil Se Dil Tak's stars shared the screen together in the reality show 'Bigg Boss 13’ where Rashami and Sidharth were involved in several violent confrontations. Their fights were the buzz of the town.

Rashami Desai recently addressed the misunderstandings. Rashami told BBC Hindi that she was dealing with a lot of personal issues at the time. When Siddharth died last year, Rashami said that she was going through a difficult period of her own.

She said, “When we worked together, he came to know me quite closely and so did I. Both of us knew a lot of things about each other. Our fights used to happen differently. Main usse bolti thi tu ek badi si body mein 10 saal ka bachcha hai (I used to tell him you are still a 10-year-old kid in an adult’s body).”

She also added, “It’s not that after Bigg Boss 13 we didn’t talk. We spoke on and off. When I used to see that he was doing good in his career, I also used to feel good; we were connected. We had set a limit with each other on a mature level. People loved me a lot, and also hated me for what was happening between us. But our journey was only known to us.”

The news of Siddharth's death in September of 2021 stunned everyone. Rashami had claimed that the news of his death had shattered her, and despite their disagreements, they cared for one other's well-being.
