Ranveer Singh Talks About His Fashion Choices, Says ‘I Felt Judged’

Ranveer who is now promoting Jayeshbhai Jordaar took to Twitter Movies to respond to fan questions during a Twitter Q&A session.

New Delhi: No one does fashion like Ranveer Singh, who is known for his outlandish and daring fashion choices. Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is famous for both his acting prowess and his distinctive sense of style. He's often mocked on the internet for his choice in clothing and accessories. The actor has now admitted that he had felt scrutinised due to his clothing choices.

The actor who is now promoting Jayeshbhai Jordaar took to Twitter Movies to respond to fan questions and shared some of his deepest secrets during a Twitter Q&A session.

“Ranveer Singh's been doing met gala everyday for all these years,” said one of his followers in reference to the actor's fashion style. That prompted Ranveer Singh to respond, "I am expressive in every way, whether it is my facial expressions, the things I say, or the manner in which I express myself to people, or how I dress, I don't hold back. This is just another aspect where I feel free to express."

He further said, “I used to feel cagey about expressing myself. I felt judged. I would alter my way of being in accordance with the effects those judgements were having on me. At one point, I let that go. I was like, people are gonna judge anyway so you do you, dress the way you want and I'm glad that I have been able to evolve into a person who does that consistently now.”

Until the release of Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Ranveer is keeping his fingers crossed. Divyang Thakkar, the film's director, portrays a humble guy from Gujarat who is battling his strict family to rescue his unborn daughter in the film. The movie will be out on May 13th.
