Rana Daggubati Deletes All Instagram Posts On His Wedding Anniversary

Actor Rana Daggubati on Monday deleted all his posts from his Instagram account days after he announced that he is taking a social media sabbatical. The actor has 4.7 million followers on Instagram.

New Delhi: Actor Rana Daggubati on Monday deleted all his posts from his Instagram account days after he announced that he is taking a social media sabbatical. The actor has 4.7 million followers on Instagram. Coincidentally Monday was also Rana and his wife Miheeka Bajaj’s second wedding anniversary. 

Last week, Rana took to Twitter to announce that he’s taking a social media sabbatical.  His Twitter post read, "Work in progress!! Taking a social media sabbatical. See you at the movies. Bigger. Better. Stronger. Lots of love to all of you. Sincerely, Rana Daggubati." The reason for his sabbatical is not known. 

Meanwhile, Rana's wife Miheeka shared pictures with him and wrote "2" with a heart emoticon in the caption, tagging the actor. In the pictures, they posed at a restaurant, with a candle, in a garden, and in front of the Eiffel Tower at night. 


Rana Daggubati’s upcoming project 
Rana Daggubati will be next seen in the upcoming web series, Rana Naidu. The series marks the coming together of the nephew-uncle duo Rana Daggubati, who plays the titular character, and Venkatesh Daggubati, who essays Venky Naidu in the series. 
 
The Hindi series which will be available to stream on Netflix has been shot majorly in Mumbai and follows the life of the city's go-to-fixer. Rana Naidu does the dirty work for the top power players; making the problems of the city's celebrities, superstar athletes, and business moguls disappear. 
 
In addition, the series also stars Surveen Chawla, Sushant Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Suchitra Pillai, Gaurav Chopra, Ashish Vidyarthi and Rajesh Jais in pivotal roles, and has been directed by the duo Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma. 
 
Produced by Aaron Sunder of Locomotive Global Inc, the series is an official adaptation of the popular American drama series 'Ray Donovan'. The format rights are licensed by ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group. The Netflix series will be dubbed in multiple southern languages on release.
