Priyanka Chopra Offers Heartfelt Condolences To Mannara Chopra After Her Father's Demise

Priyanka Chopra has expressed heartfelt condolences to her cousin, actress Mannara Chopra, following the passing of Mannara's father, Raman Rai Handa.
Priyanka Chopra mourns family loss
On Tuesday, Priyanka took to Instagram Stories to share her grief over the death of her paternal uncle. Posting a solemn tribute, she wrote, “You’ll always be in our hearts. Rest easy Raman uncle (fufaji). Om Shanti.” The post tagged her aunt Kamini Chopra and cousin Mannara Chopra.
Raman Rai Handa, a senior advocate at the Delhi High Court and father of Mannara, passed away in Mumbai on June 16 at the age of 72 after a brief illness. He was surrounded by family in his final moments.

Mannara Chopra’s father passes away
Mannara Chopra confirmed the news on social media with an official family statement, saying, “With profound grief and sorrow, we inform the sad demise of our loving father, who left us for his heavenly abode on 16/06/2025. He was the pillar of strength for our family (sic).”
According to reports, his last rites will be performed on June 18 at the Crematorium Ground in Amboli, Andheri West.
Raman Rai Handa was married to Kamini Chopra, the paternal aunt of both Priyanka and Parineeti Chopra. The families have maintained a strong bond over the years, often celebrating festivals and milestones together.
Mannara Chopra, who began her acting career with ‘Zid’, found popularity as the second runner-up on ‘Bigg Boss 17’. She is currently a participant in ‘Laughter Chefs Season 2’, alongside popular names such as Elvish Yadav, Rubina Dilaik, Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, and others.

Priyanka Chopra is gearing up for an exciting lineup of projects. She will be seen in ‘Heads of State’ alongside Idris Elba and John Cena. Additionally, she’s set to portray a 19th-century Caribbean pirate in ‘The Bluff’.
