Vijay Varma On His Role Of A Lawyer In 'Murder Mubarak': 'It Is A Break From The Bad Guys I've Played'

'Murder Mubarak', a Netflix original murder mystery thriller, featuring an ensemble star cast, will begin streaming on March 15.

New Delhi: Amid mounting anticipation for his upcoming releases, Vijay Varma, renowned for his versatility, graced the trailer launch of his latest venture, 'Murder Mubarak.' The recently released trailer of the Netflix original multi-starrer film provides a  glimpse into the enigmatic character of a lawyer, portrayed by the actor in the upcoming mystery thriller.

During the trailer launch of Murder Mubarak, Varma, affectionately known as Versatile Varma, offered insights into his role, shedding light on the complexities of his character, Akash Oberoi. Varma remarked, "It is a little bit of a break from the bad guys I have played. I would like to say that. Although it's a mystery, I won't reveal much."

Delving further into his character, Varma hinted at Oberoi's persona, revealing, "But Akash Oberoi is a lawyer, his heart is broken, that's all I know. He has a love and hate relationship with this Club, and he wants to run away from it. So, this is what I can say right now…"

Vijay Varma also talked about the importance of continuous self-improvement and dedication towards the art of acting. He emphasized that aspiring actors must prioritize working on their craft diligently, regardless of the glamour associated with the profession. 

When he was asked about what steps a newcomer should undergo to be a part of this industry ,Vijay Varma says : "The need for aspiring actors is to invest time and effort in various aspects of their craft, including mastering different acting techniques, understanding character psychology, and perfecting their emotional range.
Everybody desires to be a star but for becoming that you need to work hard on your craft year after year which will bring something unique about you. This unique craft will someday make you get noticed by everyone. How hard you try to hide it, it will come out from you and will get recognised by others."

Varma's portrayal of Akash Oberoi in Murder Mubarak promises to be a departure from his previous roles. He plays the character of a lawyer who is heartbroken.

Apart from Murder Mubarak, he will also be seen playing a pilot in IC814 - The Kandahar Hijak.
