The play was originally scheduled to commence at 02:30 IST, but seeing the prevailing weather conditions, the loss of overs will come into effect at 03:30 IST.
If rain constantly plays a spoilsport, both sides might be forced to play a 20-over game at max, before eventually leading to a 'No Result' if rain doesn't stop.
Sharing a point each will leave both sides level on points at 3, but it will be South Africa remaining on top of Group B due to a superior Net Run Rate.
