Mahakumbh 2025 Sets Record, Over 41 Crore Devotees Take Holy Dip at Triveni Sangam
The Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj has witnessed an unprecedented turnout, with over 41 crore devotees taking a holy dip at the Sangam by the 29th day of the event. The massive gathering has resulted in heavy congestion across the city and its surrounding areas, causing significant challenges for pilgrims. Due to the overwhelming rush, Sangam railway station has been temporarily closed, and emergency crowd management measures have been implemented at Prayagraj Junction.Adding to the significance of the occasion, President Droupadi Murmu is set to take a sacred dip at the Sangam today and perform Ganga Puja. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will also participate in the rituals, further highlighting the spiritual and cultural grandeur of the event.Despite logistical challenges, the turnout at Mahakumbh continues to grow, reinforcing its status as one of the largest religious gatherings in the world.
