New Delhi: The 'Dune' fever is not dying down anytime soon. Recently, it was reported that Tabu had been cast in 'Dune: Prophecy' which serves as the prequel to filmmaker Denis Villeneuve's Dune, which was released in 2021. And, now it has been confirmed with the first look teaser of the HBO Max series. Tabu shared the 'Dune: Prophecy' teaser on her official Instagram handle. However, many fans and netizens found it hard to spot Tabu in the ‘Dune’ teaser.

The 'Dune: Prophecy' teaser unveils the origins of the Bene Gesserit sisterhood, as power battles happen in the Imperium. Meanwhile, Indian fans are rejoicing with Tabu's entry to this international series. Several fans shared a brief glimpse of a character they think is Tabu.

The official synopsis of the 'Dune: Prophecy' reads, "10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides, Dune: Prophecy follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind, and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit."
As per a Variety.com report, Tabu will recur in the role of Sister Francesa and her character is described as "Strong, intelligent, and alluring, Sister Francesca leaves a lasting impression in her wake. Once a great love of the Emperor, her return to the palace strains the balance of power in the capital.”
The 'Dune' series has been announced in 2019 as draws insipration from the novel 'Sisterhood of Dune' by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson. The narrative of the series revolves around two Harkonnen sisters battling formidable forces threatening humanity's future 10,000 years prior to the rise of Paul Atreides.
