Sci-Fi Supernatural Thriller 'BAIDA' Trailer Impresses Netizens, Know Cast & Other Details

The official trailer of Sudhanshu Rai's highly anticipated sci-fi supernatural thriller, BAIDA, has been released, and it's leaving audiences spellbound.

New Delhi: Puneet Sharma's eagerly awaited sci-fi supernatural thriller BAIDA is scheduled to open in theatres throughout this month. With the release of its official trailer, the movie hailed as a first-of-its-kind Hindi supernatural thriller, is already generating buzz. Audiences are anxiously anticipating the film's theatrical release after the trailer, which debuted at a PVR in Noida with director Puneet Sharma and star actors Sudhanshu Rai and Shobhit Sujay present, received a lot of attention.

In the trailer, a terrifying universe is ruled by an evil spirit known as "Pishaach," which violates the laws of nature and carries with it a terrifying message of death.  Determined to stop the destructive forces at work, the protagonist, a former spy, becomes entangled in this fatal loop.

Fans have compared it to well-known international television series like 'Stranger Things' and 'Dark', as well as avant-garde films like 'Tumbbad' and 'Bramayugam'. BAIDA promises an engrossing story and an unprecedented cinematic experience, since it is based on one of Sudhanshu Rai's most well-known tales.

Cast of 'BAIDA'

The cast of BAIDA includes Sudhanshu Rai, Shobhit Sujay, Manisha Rai, Hiten Tejwani, Tarun Khanna, Sourabh Raaj Jain, Akhlaq Ahmad (Azad), Deepak Wadhwa, Sidharth Banerjee, and Pradeep Kabra, among others. Pratheek Shetthy, who worked on Kantara and 777 Charlie, is the film's editor. Ronada Bakkesh and Karthik Chennoji Rao are the composers of the background score and music.

Panorama Studios is scheduled to distribute BAIDA nationally on March 21, 2025. Audiences can expect a mind-bending encounter from BAIDA's distinctive fusion of science fiction and mystical elements.
