Depp vs Heard Twitter Review: Netflix Docu-Series Gets Mixed Reactions; Netizens Call It ‘Jarring’
Both Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, A-list stars in Hollywood, made severe accusations against one another during the trial.
New Delhi: 'Depp vs. Heard', a new Netflix documentary series, garnered its first reviews. The docuseries follows the hotly contested judicial trial in 2022. The media and the general public were captivated by the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial as it progressed in court. Both Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, A-list stars in Hollywood, made severe accusations against one another during the trial, which focused on their chaotic relationship.
Amber Heard's ex-husband Johnny Depp was charged of defamation. This took place after Heard wrote an opinion piece for a major publication in which she identified herself as a victim of domestic abuse without explicitly mentioning Depp. Later, following the court's announcement of the verdict, it was made public that this trial would be turned into a Netflix docuseries.
'Depp vs. Heard' has received mixed reviews, with a few people warning against the biases of internet engagement while the majority vented about the simplistic nature of the docuseries' idea. Here are some of the reactions from interent users:
If there is anything the depp vs heard trial taught us is that we should wait for the courts to review evidence before jumping to conclusions

It's kind of amazing to me how many people who didn't watch the Depp vs Heard trial have such a strong opinion about it. If you think the verdict was an injustice you clearly didn't review all the evidence and testimony 🤡🤡🤡

the depp vs heard trial just showed people’s misogyny. brad pitt, chris brown, shia labeouf etc. never got nearly as much hate as amber did even tho their allegations were way worse then the ones against amber. y’all just jumped on the occasion to be able to bash a woman.
