Nithya Menen Rubbishes Wedding Rumours With Popular Malayalam Actor

New Delhi: There was a strong buzz for a few days on social media that actress Nithya Menen is soon tying the knot with a Malayalam actor. There were also reports that they have convinced their families and wedding preparations are in full swing. Reacting to the rumours, Nithya said that there is no truth to this.
Nithya rubbished all these rumours and told Manorama, “There is absolutely no truth in the rumours that are spreading on social media. I wish the media would take the effort to verify the truth before publishing such stories.”
The actor also maintained that she is busy focusing on her work. The actor will soon be seen in the '19(1)(a)' which also stars Vijay Sethupathi. Its teaser was released on Tuesday. '19(1)(a)' will have a release on Disney Plus Hotstar.
Nithya was last seen in 'Modern Love Hyderabad' and recently spoke about the success of the anthology and how her story in it got the most amount of love. Speaking about the series, she said, "I am thrilled the series is getting appreciation,”, said the actress to the overwhelming love for Modern Love Hyderabad and continued, “Always, themes of parents and grandparents with children tend to be more sentimental and emotional, especially in the Indian context.”
Adding what makes the series franchise unique, the actor said, "All the Modern Love series, in all languages, have had very diverse themes. From self-love to being in love with someone who doesn't exist. We can't make them all only about romance. Love has a much more vast meaning. And I'm glad that was explored by Nagesh (Kukunoor, the showrunner, and director of the episode featuring her)."
The show is set in Hyderabad and is based on the American series 'Modern Love'.
