Throwback Tuesday: When Young Salman Khan Featured In A Bike Ad In 80s, See Viral Video

A throwback video of Salman Khan from a TVC is going viral on social media. Seen it yet?

Mumbai: A throwback video of a young Salman Khan from a television commercial is making waves on social media. The Bollywood superstar can be seen riding a bike in the ad, which was first released in 1985. The 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' star displayed his charm while trying to woo ladies in the old advertisement of a popular motorcycle brand.  

An Instagram page named ‘Retro Page Club’ posted the vintage ad, revealing details about the TVC. “Hero Honda CD100 ad from 1985, featuring a young Salman Khan. The motorcycle was advertised as the most fuel-efficient motorcycle in India with the slogan ‘fill it shut it forget it’,” the caption for the post read. 

Last week, Salman Khan jetted off to Russia to film important sequences for ‘Tiger 3’. The ‘Bharat’ actor and Katrina Kaif were spotted by the paparazzi at the Mumbai airport in black outfits.  According to a report in ANI, the makers will also shoot the much-awaited flick in Turkey and Austria. 

Movie buffs are quite excited to see Salman and Katrina in the third installment of the ‘Tiger’ franchise. The first two films- ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ emerged as blockbusters at the box office. Trade pundits are expecting 'Tiger 3' to also set the cash registers jingling. 

Salman Khan’s Upcoming Films 

On the professional front, the ‘Race 3’ star was last seen in ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’. The action drama co-starring Randeep Hooda, Disha Patani and Jackie Shroff premiered on ZEEPlex and leading DTH platforms on May 13. The Prabhu Deva directorial garnered over 4.2 million views across different platforms on its opening day, according to a statement issued by the makers. 

Salman has several exciting projects including ‘Tiger 3’, ‘Antim: The Final Truth’ and ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ in his kitty. The 'Dabangg' actor will soon return to the small screens with a new season of 'Bigg Boss'. The popular reality show will air on Colors channel.
