‘Saina’ Trailer Released! Parineeti Chopra Aces The Character Of Saina Nehwal In This Upcoming Biopic

New Delhi: Giving a perfect tribute to badminton player Saina Nehwal on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the makers of the upcoming film ‘Saina’ released the trailer of the much-awaited movie. ‘Saina’ is an upcoming biographical sports drama set to hit the theatres on March 26, 2021. Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra will be seen portraying the character of the ace badminton player Saina Nehwal in the upcoming film.

In the trailer, Parineeti Chopra can be seen nailing the character of Saina Nehwal with perfection. The trailer takes us into the journey of the badminton player and gives us a glimpse of her life. The actress also aced the look of the badminton player.

‘The Girl On The Train’ actress took to her social media and presented the trailer of her upcoming movie with her fans. ‘Saina’ has been directed by Amole Gupte and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Sujay Jairaj and Rashesh Shah under the banner of T-Series and Front Foot Pictures. It is based on the life of Saina Nehwal and the film was initially set to release last year in September but got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Also, earlier, Shraddha Kapoor was supposed to portray the titular role but she got replaced by the ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ actress due to date issues.

Other than Parineeti Chopra, ‘Saina’ also stars Meghna Malik, Manav Kaul and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles.
