OMG! Deepika Padukone NOT INVITED for Priyanka-Nick's engagement bash?

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas finally made their relationship official after their roka ceremony on Saturday (August 18). The two lovebirds threw a private engagement bash for their family members and industry friends at a five-star hotel in Mumbai. The engagement party was attended by the likes of Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra, the Ambani family, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and others, making it a starry affair. Several Bollywood stars including PeeCee’s ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ co-star Ranveer Singh couldn’t make it to the party, although the ‘Simmba’ actor did send his good wishes to Priyanka. Fans were also expecting Deepika Padukone to attend the bash but the ‘Padmaavat’ actress was nowhere to be seen. A recent grapevine has suggested that the ‘Piku’ actress was not part of the guest, raising several eyebrows. Deepika and Priyanka played the respective roles of Mastani and Kashibai in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ opposite Ranveer Singh. The two actresses have always indicated that they are good friends, so it comes as a surprise that only one half of DeepVeer was invited for the party. In fact, everyone knows Ranveer and DP are a couple and will walk down the altar this November. So, it’s odd that PC left Dippy’s name out of her guest list. Who does that? Why would you invite one half of a couple and leave the other one out?” a source told DNA. Deepika and Priyanka had appeared together for an episode of Karan Johar’s talk show ‘Koffee With Karan’ 2014.
