Man Watches Saiyaara With IV Drip, Netizens Say ‘Give That PR Agency A Raise’

A video of a man watching Saiyaara in a theatre while hooked to an IV drip has gone viral, sparking hilarious reactions online. Netizens joked, “Love the PR agency of this film!”

Mohit Suri’s latest romantic drama 'Saiyaara', featuring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, is proving to be more than just a box office hit -it’s fast turning into an emotional movement. Known for crafting intense love stories like 'Aashiqui 2', Suri returns to familiar territory with 'Saiyaara', and the response has been nothing short of extraordinary.

A viral video circulating online shows a fan named Faisal watching the film in a theatre while attached to an IV drip. Describing himself as an artist, Faisal is seen sitting with a friend, visibly moved by the film, his condition not stopping him from showing up to the theatre.

Social media reacts to the viral video

Social media was quick to react. While some users were concerned about Faisal’s health - “Bhai bimar h tu Allah ko yaad kar, Saiyaara se kaam na chale,” one user commented - others were taken aback by his sheer commitment. “Itni dedication? Hospital se uth kar film dekhne aa gaya?” read another post, reflecting the disbelief and admiration the act inspired.

Many users called it a PR stunt. A user wrote, "I love the PR agency of this film😂😂 pure entertainment on insta." Another user commented, "The PR agency (who ever is promoting this movie) truely deserves recognition. It's amazing how they took Instagram by the storm..! Hats off."

About Saiyaata response

The film surged at the box office over the weekend, pulling in close to ₹37 crore on Sunday alone — its biggest single-day collection. Within just three days, the film has amassed ₹83 crore nett domestically, and industry insiders expect it to cross the ₹100-crore milestone within days.

Beyond the numbers, 'Saiyaara' is being praised by critics and audiences alike for its poignant narrative and compelling performances, especially by its lead pair.

An excerpt from the ABP Live review read, "Saiyaara' is far from the hype created around it, but it is an earnest and watchable film. Powered by strong performances, especially from its leads, and a treatment that finds emotional depth in familiar territory, it’s a solid debut for Ahaan Panday. It may not be a masterpiece, but it’s definitely worth a watch." Read full review here.
