Is Kartik Aaryan’s Fallout With Janhvi Kapoor The Real Reason Behind His Exit From ‘Dostana 2’?

Mumbai: Kartik Aaryan has been ousted from Dharma Productions’ upcoming movie ‘Dostana 2’ last month owing to his ‘unprofessional behaviour’. Karan Johar’s production house released a statement revealing that ‘Dostana 2’ will be re-cast. KJo has also reportedly unfollowed the ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ actor on social media.

Kartik Aaryan fans were left heartbroken after the news of the ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ actor ousted from ‘Dostana 2’ came out. People have been trolling KJo on social media after this spat.

Though the actual reason for Kartik’s exit from the movie has not been revealed, according to a report of Times Of India, Kartik started behaving difficult after his friendship with Janhvi Kapoor ended in the month of January. He started delaying the dates for the shoot post the ‘Dhadak’ actress totally stopped communicating with him. The report further added that Aaryan even suggested that if the makers drop Janhvi, he is ready to shoot the film.

Both Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan have decided to stay tight-lipped in this matter.

Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan’s next movie ‘Dhamaka’ has been sold to the OTT platform Netflix for a whooping amount of Rs 135 crores reportedly. The movie is the official Hindi remake of the 2014 South Korean film ‘The Terror Live’ which follows the story of an ambitious news anchor who monopolizes the live broadcast of a terrorist attack.

Other than ‘Dhamaka’, Kartik Aaryan will also be seen starring opposite Kiara Advani in ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’.
