‘Dil Bechara’ Clocks 1 Year: Fans Remember Sushant Singh Rajput As ‘Manny’
Today, on the occasion of 1 year of ‘Dil Bechara’, netizens remember their favourite actor Sushant Singh Rajput as ‘Manny’.
Mumbai: Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s last movie ‘Dil Bechara’ was released posthumously after his death on July 24, 2020. SSR, who was allegedly found hanging in his Bandra apartment on June 14, 2020, portrayed the lead character of Manny in ‘Dil Bechara’. Helmed by Mukesh Chhabra, this movie also marked the debut for ‘Rockstar’ actress Sanjana Sanghi in a lead role.
Though it’s been more than a year that Sushant Singh Rajput passed away, fans remember the actor frequently and often trend him on Twitter. Today, on the occasion of 1 year of ‘Dil Bechara’, netizens remember their favourite actor as ‘Manny’.

Helmed by casting director Mukesh Chhabra, ‘Dil Bechara’ is an adaptation of John Green's 2012 novel ‘The Fault in Our Stars’. This movie also marked Mukesh Chhabra’s debut as a director. Sushant Singh and Sanjana Sanghi received praises from the critics for their performance but however, the emotional depth and direction in ‘Dil Bechara’ failed to impress the critics. The soundtrack of the movie, composed by A.R. Rahman, was well received by both the critics and the audience.
‘Dil Bechara’ has been written by ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ director Shashank Khaitan.
