Alia clears air on Sidharth's mystery date

New Delhi: Alia Bhatt has set the record straight on Sidharth Malhorta's dinner date with mystery girl, saying he never went on a date. In an interview with a leading daily, the 23-year-old actress, who is gearing up for the release of 'Udta Punjab', clarified that she doesn't have any reason to fight with him. Talking about the actor's date night, she said, "I also asked him casually about his dinner with a 'mystery girl' and he said, "I didn't go for one." The 'Shaandaar' actress further said she knows the 'Brothers' actor as they began their career together. "I have developed a huge fondness for him and he'll always be an important part of my life," she said. Alia and Sidharth, who had starred together in films like 'Student of the Year' and 'Kapoor and Sons', will be next seen in sequel to 2013 hit ' Aashiqui 2'. Last month, the 31-year-old actor was spotted at a Bandra restaurant on a dinner date with a mystery girl.
