Ajay Devgn REACTS To Deepika Padukone's JNU Visit, Says- 'I Am No One To Comment'
'Tanhaji' actor Ajay Devgn reacted to Deepika Padukone's JNU visit, which created grabbed several eyeballs and became a national debate.
New Delhi: Deepika Padukone visited Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) on January 7 to express solidarity with the students. Her visit grabbed several eyeballs and the actress received both support and criticism on social media. Bollywood celebs including Anurag Kashyap, Swara Bhasker, Bhumi Pedneker lauded DP for extending support to the students, who were attacked by a mob in the varsity campus. However, a certain section slammed the ‘Padmaavat’ actress and called her visit as a promotional tactic for her latest release ‘Chhapaak’.
Ajay Devgn, in an exclusive chat with ABP News correspondent Ravi Jain, opened up about Deepika Padukone’s JNU visit.
"Every person has the right to have his/her opinion and do his/her choice of work. I am no one to judge whether a person has done the right thing or not. I don’t get much time for myself. Therefore, I have no right to comment on what others are doing. I don’t think I would be able to give a appropriate answer to your question. If anybody wants to do something, I am nobody to stop that person.”
Interestingly, Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’’ and Deepika Padukone’s ‘Chhapaak’ released on the same date. The two films hit the silver screens on January 10.
‘Tanhaji’, directed by Om Raut, has taken the lead on the first day. The film collected Rs 15.10 crore on its opening day at the box office.

Talking about Ajay Devgn, the actor broke his silence on the violence at JNU campus after the release of his film 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior'. He tweeted, "I have always maintained that we should wait for proper facts to emerge. I appeal to everyone - let us further the spirit of peace and brotherhood, not derail it either consciously or carelessly #JNUViolence."#Chhapaak is ordinary on Day 1...
