Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone Starrer 'Singham Again' To Be Released On August 15 Next Year

'Singham Again' is the third part of Rohit Shetty's super successful 'Singham' franchise.

New Delhi: 'Singham' fans brace yourselves. Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty are reuniting in 'Singham Again' which will be released on Independence Day 2024. 'Singham Again' is the third part of Rohit Shetty's super successful 'Singham' franchise. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced the film on his official Twitter handle.

Deepika Padukone will play the female lead in 'Singham Again'. Her being part of the Rohit Shetty cop universe was announced in December last year. Deepika will portray the role of a cop in the action-entertainer. 

'Singham Again' will be released on August 15, 2024 which happens to be a Thursday. Looks like the makers want to ensure that the box office collection remains strong with a long weekend release.

Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn was last seen in 'Bholaa' which did not do so well at the box office. The film collected Rs. 100 crores after a run of two weeks on theatre chains across the world. Ajay's upcoming film Maidan' is slated for a June 23, 2023 release. Post this, Ajay also has 'Auron Mein Dum Tha', directed by Neeraj Pandey alongside Tabu.

On the other hand, Deepika Padukone was seen in the super-successful 'Pathaan' along with Shah Rukh Khan. Deepika will also be seen with Hrithik Roshan in 'Fighter' and with Prabhas in 'Project K'. Deepika also has other projects in the pipeline.

Rohit Shetty, whose last release ‘Cirkus’ bombed at the box office, is known for making box office masala entertainers which are usually loved by the audience. Rohit also has ‘Indian Police Force’ series for Amazon Prime, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi
