New Delhi: ‘URI: The Surgical Strike’ actor Mohit Raina tied the knot with his lady love Aditi in an intimate ceremony in Rajasthan recently. He had shared a few pictures from the low-key ceremony on Instagram which went viral immediately.

Sharing the pictures, the actor wrote- “Love recognises no barriers, it jumps hurdles , leaps fences , penetrates walls to arrive at its destination , full of hope . With that hope and the blessings of our parents we are no longer two but one . Need all your love and blessing in this new journey .”

Raina, in a recent interview with Hindustan Times, revealed details about his intimate ceremony along with the reason why he chose to have such a lowkey celebration. The couple got married in Rajasthan. Raina shared some details about his wife revealing that his wife Aditi is not from a film background and is far away from showbiz. She hails from a technical background, revealed the ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’ actor.

He further shared that his wedding was not a planned affair. Their destination wedding which took place in Rajasthan was a very ‘close-knit family affair’, the actor revealed. He added that he and his family made this decision in quite haste.

The report in Hindustan Times further revealed that Mohit met, his now-wife, Aditi’s family during the second wave of COVID-19 to ask her parents for their permission for the marriage. The two had met a few years ago. He said that since he is in a profession where he is always in the limelight, the couple wanted something that is just theirs, something close to their heart.

He shared that his first Lohri and Makar Sankranti with his wife will be special and different. On the work front, the actor will be seen next in the second season of ‘Bhaukaal’ along with ‘Kaafir’ which also features Dia Mirza.
