Man Arrested For Using Sunny Leone Hubby’s Car Number On His Mercedes!

Mumbai traffic control DCP told that in September 2020, Leone’s husband Daniel Weber had received a few e-challans for road safety violations that were actually committed by someone else.

A man has been arrested by Versova police for allegedly using the registration number of a vehicle belonging to actress Sunny Leone’s husband on his Mercedes car.

Accused Piyush Sen was remanded in police custody for a day on Wednesday. Mumbai traffic control DCP told that in September 2020, Leone’s husband Daniel Weber had received a few e-challans for road safety violations that were actually committed by Sen.

On Tuesday when Daniel Weber’s driver Akbar Khan spotted a car using the same number on Achyutrao Patwardhan Marg in Andheri. He then reported the misuse of Weber’s Mercedes car number to DN Nagar traffic constable Akush Nirbhavane, who asked Sen to show his vehicle’s papers.

While Sen had the original papers of his car, it had different registration and chassis numbers. Later Weber came to the police station with the papers of his registration number. LaterSen confessed that he was using a different number on his car which actually belonged to Sunny's husband car.

Joint Commissioner of Traffic Yashasvi Yadav said, “The traffic police have registered a case under section 420, 465, 468 of the IPC and the Motor Vehicle Act 139 at the Versova police station.”
