New Delhi: Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor have often made it to the limelight for their relationship. The couple, who has been dating for almost three years now, has often been at the receiving end of trolls. Though their love story is going in a smooth pace right now, this happy couple had to face a lot of criticisms from the people due to the difference in their age. Arjun-Malaika’s relationship was under the wraps for a long time until the couple admitted to being in a relationship in the year 2019.

Both Malaika and Arjun refrained from commenting on their relationship to the media for a long time. But they used to leave cute comments on each other’s social media posts which led to further speculations on the status of their relationship. Though the fans of the couple love seeing them together, many trolls called Malaika Arora ‘old’ and ‘desperate’ for dating Arjun Kapoor.

Malaika, however, came up with a befitting reply to such trolls in one of her interviews with HT Brunch. When asked about the age gap, Arora told the publication that ‘age does not matter in the relationship but our society is such that it does not want to move ahead with time. Malaika said that an older man is praised for romancing a young girl, but when a woman is older, she is called ‘Desperate’ and ‘Old’. My answer to those with such thinking is- Take a flying f *** ‘.

Malaika Arora was earlier married to Salman Khan’s brother Arbaaz Khan. The couple has a son together named Arhaan Khan. Malaika and Arbaaz got separated after 18 years of marriage.
