New Delhi: American socialite Kylie Jenner has found herself in the midst of a controversy after she expressed support for Israel amid the recent deadly attacks caused by Hamas on the former country. The famous TV personality on Saturday shared an image of Israel's flag with a caption that said, "Now and always, we stand with the people of Israel!" Soon after, Kylie removed the post after facing criticism from individuals advocating for Palestine and Hamas.

Several users on the internet and various social media platforms shared screenshots of Kylie's deleted Instagram story. Kylie's comments section was flooded with harsh remarks.

Many criticized her for involving herself in political matters and offering support for Israel, and some in return responded by posting Palestinian flags.

A user wrote, "Kylie Jenner, Ashley Tisdale, Sofia Richie and Nina Dobrev have ALL came out in support of Israel, the country that is KILLING innocent Palestinian citizens and children to steal their land.  LET IT BE KNOWN they are LITERALLY SUPPORTING GENOCIDE of the people of Palestine."

Meanwhile, the violent conflict between Israel and Gaza has entered day three with both sides taking severe measures to outplay each other after Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel early Saturday morning. More than 1,000 have died in the devastating war so far and over 2,000 were injured after Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu-led government formally declared war against Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip.
