Is Siddharth Malhotra Planning Season Two Of Dia Mirza & Mohit Raina's 'Kaafir'?

New Delhi: Producer-director Siddharth Malhotra’s recent web series 'Kaafir' took the audiences by storm for its compelling and sensitive storyline besides some intense acting. From what we hear, the success of the show has got Malhotra planning a sequel. Although the producer was not available to comment, sources say that talks are on for a part 2. The web series featured Bollywood actress Dia Mirza and TV heartthrob Mohit Raina in lead roles. ''The casting is not yet finalized but a storyline is almost in order. Malhotra has been inspired by another true story and plans to make Kaafir 2 along the lines. Season two will also be an intense fare,'' a source told ABP News. Siddharth Malhotra has always set the bar high in every project he has taken on. Whether it was creating Dil Mil Gaye or Sanjivani at a time when the genres remained unexplored. Even Hichki, directed by Malhotra had a great run at the box office.
Talking about 'Kaafir', the web series was produced by Siddharth Malhotra under his banner Alchemy Films Pvt Ltd. The story  was written by Bhavani Iyer while  Sonam Nair directed the series. Watch this space for more updates!
