John Abraham Has A Problem With The OTT Space. Calls Himself A 'Big-Screen Hero'

John Abraham will also be seen in Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' in 2023.

New Delhi: John Abraham is known for his action-oriented films. The actor in an interaction with a leading publication spoke about how he has a problem with appearing on the OTT medium as an actor. John has been in the industry for over two decades and also produces many of his own projects.

In an interview with TOI, John said, "As a producer, I love the OTT space. I would love to make films for the medium and cater to that audience. But as an actor, I am very clear that I want to be on the big screen. I am a big-screen hero and that is where I want to be seen. At this point, I will do films that cater to the big screen. I would find it offensive if someone shut off my film midway on a tablet because they needed to rush to the washroom. Also, I would not like to be available for Rs 299 or 499. I have a problem with it.”

John Abraham also spoke about how he is eager to reprise the third installment of 'Force' as the film is quite close to his heart.

“I am eager to do Force 3, which I feel should be more powerful than the previous installments. The film is close to my heart and I’d like to take the franchise ahead,”John added.

John's upcoming films include 'Ek Villain Returns' alongside Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria. The film is being directed by Mohit Suri who helmed the first installment of the movie in 2014.

John will also be seen in Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' in 2023.

The 'Satyamev Jayate' actor's last release was 'Attack' which had a below average run in theatres.
