Jackie Shroff Arrives Barefoot, Carries A Plant With Him At Ram Mandir; Vivek Oberoi Shares Pictures

To witness the consecration of Ramlalla, notable people from all over the country arrived in Ayodhya that included celebrities like Jackie Shroff, Anupam Kher, Vivek Oberoi and others.

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ayodhya got over a day back and it was indeed a lavish affair. With pujas and bhajans resonating Rambhoomi, Ramlalla finally arrived and the 'pran pratishtha' ceremony was fulfilled. To witness this, notable people from all over the country arrived in Ayodhya that included celebrities like Jackie Shroff, Anupam Kher, Vivek Oberoi and others.

Following the event, Vivek Oberoi told ANI, "Lord Ram got me emotional. His (Ram Lalla) form is beautiful. The sculpting is so good. I feel that the Lord Ram actually came within the sculpture...I was very emotional and I sought blessings for everyone in the family..."

He also posted a video on his Instagram story featuring Jackie Shroff, highlighting that Jackie had attended the ceremony barefoot.

Both of them called each other “my favourite guy” and chanted “Jai Siya Ram” in unison. "He is not wearing shoes only. Ram ki bhoomi mein aa raho to jooto ki zarurat hi nahi hai (there is no need for shoes in the land of Lord Ram)," added Vivek Oberoi while pointing out at Jackie's bare feet.

Jackie, known for carrying a plant, brought one to Ayodhya too. He felt happy and blessed after attending the consecration and told ANI, "I have received the blessing...I feel great that I was called. Whenever I was given the role of an inspector, my name was 'Ram'..."

Vivek Oberoi shared many other moments from his Ayodhya visit through Instagram Stories, showcasing the temple and all the people who had come to attend the ceremony. Additionally, he posted selfies with Anupam Kher, Kangana Ranaut, and Kumar Vishwas as well.

This was Vivek Oberoi's first visit to Ayodhya and he told that while there may be political controversies, the common people are content and enthusiastic about the developments.

"I have come to Ayodhya for the first time and it feels that if you breathe here, 'Ram Bhakti' will get in you. There is so much energy in here. People are so happy. There is a wave of 'bhakti' here and there is a lot of curiosity among people that Ram Lalla is returning to Ayodhya after 500 years. I think Lord Ram has always connected people and society," ANI quoted him as saying.

Apart from them, business tycoons Ambani and Birla were also present at the ceremony, in addition to sportspersons like Sachin Tendulkar, Mitali Raj and many others.
