'I've Already Sent The Divorce Draft': Charu Asopa On Her Relationship Status With Rajeev Sen

Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen have kept everyone confused with their social media antics as to whether the couple is heading for divorce or reconciliation.

After dating for a little over a quarter of a year, Rajeev and Charu tied the knot on June 7, 2019.

New Delhi: Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen have kept everyone confused with their social media antics as to whether the couple is heading for divorce or reconciliation. The speculations of reconciliation started when Rajeev uploaded a photograph with her on Instagram with the song 'Abhi na jao chhod kar'. When asked about his post Rajeev told ETimes, “For my latest post, the picture says it all.”  

In a recent interview, Charu cleared the air about their relationship status and said that she is firm on her decision to ‘dissolve’ her marriage. "There are many issues and a lot has happened in these three years. Therefore, I have taken the decision of dissolving this marriage. I have filed for divorce, and have been sending legal notices. I just did not wake up one fine day and take the decision of getting separated. A lot of things kept piling up and that led to this decision. Many things have happened, and now, we have become fools outside where people say they keep playing breakup and patch up. I have made up my mind, and my lawyer has filed for divorce. I have already sent the divorce draft to Rajeev but he said that he wants some changes in it and his lawyer will revert. But it's been almost a week, my lawyer has been calling his lawyer but she isn't responding," the actress told Pinkvilla. 

Charu also revealed that she was shocked by Rajeev’s social media post and called out his double standards. “Amid all of this, Rajeev has posted this picture, which is an old one. So, I have no clue why has he done this. Just like the audience, even I am shocked. I don't know what he's thinking and I don't understand these double standards of people. We haven't spoken about anything because we have only been communicating legally. We have been sending notices to each other. In the house, we can't fight about this topic but everyone knows that this is going on. When my lawyer approaches Rajeev's lawyer, she refuses to answer and because of this, the whole process is getting delayed. I can't understand the reason behind the delay," Charu told Pinkvilla.
