Actor Hrithik Roshan recently played host to K-pop sensation Jackson Wang in Mumbai. The K-pop idol, who is in India for an extended cultural and promotional tour, was warmly welcomed by Hrithik and his parents, veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan and Pinkie Roshan.

Rakesh Roshan took to Instagram to share a moment from their meeting. The photo featured Jackson standing between Hrithik and his mother, Pinkie Roshan. Jackson Wang, a Hong Kong-born rapper, singer, and songwriter, rose to fame as a member of the South Korean boy group GOT7, formed under JYP Entertainment in 2014. Since then, he has carved out a successful solo career, with albums like Mirrors (2019) and Magic Man (2022), the latter reaching No. 15 on the US Billboard 200 chart. Jackson was also listed on Forbes China's Celebrity 100, ranking 41st in 2020 and an impressive 10th in 2021.

Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming projects

On the work front, Hrithik Roshan is gearing up for ‘War 2’, the much-awaited sequel in the YRF Spy Universe. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and co-starring Kiara Advani, the high-octane action thriller is slated to release on August 14 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Hrithik is also set to make his directorial debut with ‘Krrish 4’, the next installment in the beloved superhero franchise. In April, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan confirmed that his son would take the director’s chair for the upcoming film, officially passing the baton after 22 years of building the franchise. ‘Krrish 4’ will be jointly produced by Yash Raj Films and Rakesh Roshan’s production house, with shooting expected to begin early next year.
