Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts Teaser Makes Potterheads Nostalgic
The reunion celebrates the 20 year anniversary of its first movie, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in the series of 8 movie collection.
The much-awaited Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts is all set to hit the screens on New Year’s Day. The Production released its teaser just yesterday dropping pre jitters among Potterheads.
The reunion celebrates the 20 year anniversary of its first movie, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in the series of 8 movie collection. Apart from the lead trio of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, The Return to Hogwarts special will star Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Imelda Staunton, Tom Felton, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Mark Williams, Bonnie Wright, Alfred Enoch, Matthew Lewis, Evanna Lynch, Ian Hart and many more.
The teaser opens up with Hogwarts Clock Tower chiming up with rusty glaze set on it. The next scene sees the Daily Prophets's Hogwarts special edition with "Welcomes Back Alumni" as a headline. Next up we see the Hogwarts invite letters with Robbie Coltrane and Mathew Lewis with the words "Invitation you have been waiting for has arrived" appearing on the screen in letters of gold. The teaser ends with Emma Watson appearing on the 9 ¾ platform.
This will be the third reunion in line after the cast of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air met and Friend's reunion. The reunion will follow the same pattern as Friend's reunion and go on an unscripted spree. It will include in-depth interviews and conversations with the cast to provide new details on the production.
The Potterheads have been going gaga over the reunion's arrival. Nostalgia over the dead actors of the series like Alan Rickman and Richard Harris has been circling among the fans. To add to the excitement the WB production has dropped ‘Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses’, a four-episode show that will witness all the four houses competing to win the House Cup. The show is being hosted by Helen Mirren and will see its finale on 19th December.
