Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna Starrer 'Sita Ramam' Release Date Finalized

'Sita Ramam' featuring Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna will be released pan-India in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi on August 5, 2022.

New Delhi: Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur and Rashmika Mandanna starrer 'Sita Ramam' will now release in August. The release date of this Telugu film had been under wraps and now the date has finally been revealed. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, 'Sita Ramam' will now release on 5th August 2022.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced the release date announcement with a poster of the film that stated the release date. He tweeted, "DULQUER SALMAAN - MRUNAL THAKUR - RASHMIKA MANDANNA: RELEASE DATE OF PAN-INDIA FILM LOCKED... #VyjayanthiMovies and #SwapnaCinema finalise the release date of their PAN-#India film #SitaRamam: 5 Aug 2022... Directed by #HanuRaghavapudi."

Dulquer also shared the announcement on his official Instagram handle and wrote, "An epic story. A film that felt like we stepped into a dream. Time traveling to a glorious era rich in colours, sights and sounds. This is a love letter from the pages of history delivering soon to theatres near you…#SitaRamam."

Dulquer had earlier collaborated with VyjayanthiMovies for 'Mahanti' the biopic on actress Savitri wherein he played the role of late Gemini Ganesan.

'Sita Ramam' is touted to be a romantic film and Rashmika Mandanna has been signed to play a 'special heroic role' in the film. Sumanth, Gautam Menon, and Prakash Raj will be playing supporting roles in 'Sita Ramam'.

Ever since the film's announcement, it has been in the news for various reasons. Recently, its first single titled 'Oh Sita Hey Rama' was released and fans have expressed their appreciation for the song.

Produced by Ashwini Dutt and Priyanka Dutt under the banner of Swapna Cinema, the movie is being presented by Vyjayanthi.

'Sita Ramam' will be released pan-India in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi on August 5, 2022.
