Deepika has gone over and beyond in her achievements globally so often now, that she is treading a new path herself and setting new milestones on many international platforms. The actress has represented the country on major platforms many times before, like when she was chosen to be the only Indian on the Cannes Jury when she unveiled the FIFA World Cup trophy when she was signed as the first face of the world’s biggest luxury brand and many more.
This year's Oscars will be particularly meaningful for India because of the nominations of not one but two documentaries. Moreover, SS Rajamouli's RRR's ‘Naatu Naatu’ has been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song this year. MM Keeravaani created the song's melody, while Chandrabose wrote the words. For Best Documentary Feature Film, there's ‘All That Breathes’, while for Best Documentary Short Film, there's ‘The Elephant Whisperers’.
