Cirkus Trailer Out: Ranveer Singh’s Double Role In This Electrifying Comedy Looks Fun

New Delhi: This Christmas get ready to watch Ranveer Singh in his jolly avatar playing a double role for the first time. The 1960s-themed Rohit Shetty’s film ‘Cirkus’ will be released in theatres ahead of Christmas Day.
On Friday, the makers of ‘Cirkus’ released the official trailer of the movie. Ranveer Singh and Varun Sharma both have double roles in this movie.

In the movie, Ranveer seems to have a special power that permits him to control electricity for use in his circus shows. He was referred to as "electric man" in the trailer.
Deepika Padukone also makes an unexpected cameo at the end of the trailer. She performed with Ranveer in a high-energy song.
In the trailer, Ranveer could be seen in full of madness mode. Fans have fallen in love with the actor's looks and are showering praise on the trailer on social media.
Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors, which has been turned into Bollywood comedy flicks like 'Angoor' and 'Do Dooni Chaar', served as the inspiration for 'Cirkus'.
Ranveer will reportedly be seen reprising Sanjeev Kumar's role from the cult film 'Angoor' and Varun will reprise Deven Verma’s character.
The comedy film is produced by Reliance Entertainment, T-Series, and Rohit Shetty Picturez and helmed by Rohit Shetty. Along with Ranveer Singh, the movie also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Johnny Lever, Varun Sharma, and several other prominent actors. 'Cirkus' is slated to hit the big screens on December 23.
Also, on Ranveer's plate is the Karan Johar directorial 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' in which he will share the screen with Dharmendra, his 'Gully Boy' co-star Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.
